About the Author

Alvin is a Software Professional who has worked in the IT industry for over 30 years.
Much of his expertise was gained while working the airline and defence industries.

He is also a Councillor in the Borough of Bracknell Forest.
He arrived late into politics, after having met his wife at the age of 40.

Alvin and Diane met in November 1997, and were married by December 1997.
They live in Bracknell, Berkshire.
Alvin was born in Cornwall.

Alvin is a keen reader of, and has a subscription to the New Scientist. Many of the ideas in the book came from reading the magazine. From articles such as this.

He is an avid follower of the Bracknell Rugby club.
